SCSI Option

The SANnet II SCSI storage solutions directly connect to single, dual or clustered open systems servers without the complexity of storage networking. Set up and installation is uncomplicated and straightforward. With two Ultra160 SCSI host connections and redundant or single controller options, SANnet II SCSI storage solutions deliver fast performance and high availability. SANnet II SCSI provides external hardware RAID storage with redundant, hot-swap, field-replaceable components and 99.9998+ percent uptime to keep critical data and applications accessible. With its enterprise-class functionality and familiar SCSI technology, SANnet II SCSI brings a rich feature set, without complexity, to direct attached storage environments.

Fibre Option

SANnet II FC (Fibre Channel) storage solutions feature FC technology for hosts and FC or SATA technology for disks. Base and expansion systems occupy only 2U of rack space and include 12 drive bays to provide up to 3.6TB of capacity each using FC disks. With support for various disk speeds and capacities, SANnet II FC adapts to a broad range of applications. Those requiring maximum performance benefit from the unsurpassed performance of 15,000rpm disks. For less demanding applications, general purpose 300GB disks are an alternative. High-capacity 400GB SATA disks are ideally suited for near-line storage applications such as disk to disk backup. Because SANnet II FC supports different disks in any combination and enables online expansion and migration without interruptions, it adapts to many applications and changing requirements.
