Cull Irrelevant Documents and Identify Privileged Documents.
Kazeon can easily identify duplicates across multiple data sets, providing a single de-duplicative view of all user files, emails, attachments and discussions. Directly from the search results, irrelevant data can be quickly tagged “not relevant” and removed from the data set. Documents shared with counsel can be quickly tagged as “privileged”, further culling the data set down. Responsive documents can be tagged appropriately and with the appropriate case number for further processing. The system can also enforce reason codes, requiring anyone labeling a document to explain why to meet auditing requirements. These and other easy-to-use cull-down techniques typically reduce the original case data set by as much as 60-to-90%.

At any time, the user has the flexibility to take action on a single document, a set of user files or an entire search result set. Responsive documents can be locked down with the appropriate litigation hold. Legal can select multiple files to create a ‘golden copy’ or master DVD of record. Sets of documents can be downloaded to produce a .pst or .zip file of secure, documentary evidence. Furthermore, Kazeon supports open standards, including EDRM and XML standards, enabling the conversion and loading of data into review and production systems. The Kazeon system maintains chain of custody at all times.
