To reinforce its compliance and best practice requirements by retaining crucial emails and file data for longer periods and also improve overall mailbox management, VSE has selected Simpana Archive software. According to the company, CommVault's archiving capabilities will provide greater flexibility to retain email for whatever time period best meets corporate policies while also achieving projected reductions of up to 40 percent in mailbox sizes.

VSE will also implement Simpana Search software to handle search and discovery requests in-house. VSE expects to reduce its risk and cost related to discovery requests for Electronically Stored Information (ESI) by using Simpana software eDiscovery capabilities.
