Scale Computing, a developer and manufacturer of intelligent, scale-out storage solutions tailored to the virtualization and archiving needs of the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), today announced record results for its second quarter, ending June 30, 2011 (Q2’11). Scale Computing’s Q2’11 revenue in the SME market grew 102 percent over Q1’10. In addition, Scale Computing launched a new partner program that resulted in a 192 percent increase in new partners quarter–over–quarter.

Additional Q2’11 Scale Computing highlights include:

• Over 550 customer installations completed to date
• Thirty percent of Q2 sales came from existing customers
• Customer growth accelerated 237 percent year-over-year
• Increased employee count by 82 percent year-over-year
