Scale Computing, a developer and manufacturer of intelligent, scale-out storage solutions tailored to the virtualization and archiving needs of the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), today announced record results for its second quarter, ending June 30, 2011 (Q2’11). Scale Computing’s Q2’11 revenue in the SME market grew 102 percent over Q1’10. In addition, Scale Computing launched a new partner program that resulted in a 192 percent increase in new partners quarter–over–quarter. “We launched a new partner program this past quarter to offer resellers, especially those frustrated and disappointed with HP LeftHand, new market opportunities, significant profit margins, strong marketing programs, responsive support and zero conflict with channel partners,” said Jeff Ready, CEO and co-founder of Scale Computing. “Our dramatic increase in partners is a direct reflection of that successful program, as well as the demand by SMEs for affordable storage solutions that make virtualization implementations a fiscal reality.
